HEIW – Health Education Improvement Wales

Disability Wales
Disability Wales is the national association of Disabled People’s Organisations (DPO) striving for the rights and equality of all disabled people. Our core role is to represent the views and priorities of members to government with the aim of informing and influencing policy.
We are actively involved in influencing the work of the Disability Rights Taskforce and supporting engagement of members in developing the Action Plan. We provide information, training and support to full member DPOs and are running projects aimed at increasing the involvement of disabled people in public life including the Access to Politics Grassroots Network.

Eye to Eye Counselling Service
Eye to Eye is a free counselling service established in 1995 working across Rhonda Cynon Taff, Merthyr and Bridgend. We provide around 9,000 sessions of counselling per year to ages 10 to 30 years and also support around 300 children and adults who have been traumatised by an event in their home or community.
We offer bespoke training in our field of expertise, which is children and young people, to organisations and the voluntary sector. We also support local colleges by providing student placements to trainee counsellors.

Data Cymru is a Welsh local government company and we offer a range of specialist support designed to help you find and use data effectively. This includes:
- Help to source collect, or collate data.
- Data analysis and effective data presentation.
- Advice on the best ways to undertake research.
- Help to find out what citizens, service users/customers think.
- Training your staff in relevant topics such as basic statistics, presenting data, managing performance, survey design & analysis, and questionnaire design etc.

Welsh Language Commissioner
The Welsh Language Commissioner’s Hybu Team work with the third sector (and businesses) to encourage and support them to increase their Welsh language services. We support organisations to create Welsh language development schemes and provide training, research and guidelines. We hold one-to-one conversations with third sector organisations to discuss any available support.
